Enrollment is open for the course “Training of Black Leaders with Disabilities”, organized by ‘Lab Reviravolta’ in partnership with “Vidas Negras com Deficiência Importam” (VNDI).
The goal is to train Black, poor, favela and peripheral people with disabilities from anywhere in the country so that they become new social leaders.
ABOUT THE COURSE
Classes will take place every Wednesday, in the evening at 7:00 p.m., on a digital platform provided by the VNDI Institute.
The training has a workload of 36 hours, over 3 months and covers highly current topics of great relevance to the personal and collective life and the historic struggle of Black people with disabilities.
Some of the topics covered in the course are:
- Racism and whiteness;
- Favela and community communication;
- Intersectionality;
- Inclusion and Ableism,
- Among others.
Oh, and each participant will receive a certificate at the end of the course.
